The Art of Ray Moore

Ray Moore's Phantom and little Tommy

I have had a lot of fun researching and writing this tribute. While I hope you have enjoyed it, I don't believe for one minute that it is the last word or only valid opinion on Ray Moore's body of work. In fact it is my hope that anyone who has more, verifiable information about Ray's life and work will email me with it so that it can be added to the rest of this tribute. I have other information on Ray that has not yet been included because of time restraints. After months spent gathering and writing, I finally decided that it was better to put up what I have at the moment, and worry about updating later. I guess a project like this is never really finished. Having said all that, I want to thank those people who have helped so far. They are:

Emile Lavigne (Canada), Bob Griffin (U.S.A.) along with discussions and email from Bryan Shedden (Australia), Martin LiSanti (Australia) and Ed Rhoades (U.S.A.). I also have to admit to pilfering from a couple of reprinted articles in John Henderson's (Australia) "Jungle Beats" and from a couple of Frew specials, though most of the text comes from my own observations. So thank you all.

Anyone wishing to "donate" more information can email me at oldmozz@b150.aone.net.au.
